Black Ops 2 Campaign - completed!

So today I decided to finally finish the campaign for the latest Call of Duty game, as with most shooters out there the campaign is slightly lacking in the length department, and this latest iteration is no different.

However short the campaign mode was still entertaining, more of an interactive movie, where choices you make throughout the story determine what happens as you make your way through the campaign in order to bring down Menendez.

From ordinary missions involving your main character the guys at Treyarch have also mixed it up a bit by introducing strike force campaigns that can help or hinder you in the end if left uncompleted.

In these strike force missions you have to control a squad of men or machines in order to accomplish the objectives, you are able to zoom out from the normal first person view and enter an aerial view of the whole battle field and control all units at your disposal by giving attack or movement orders to get the job done and help you later in the game.

As for story changing decisions, a few come about in the missions you play, whether it be,without going in to too much detail and spoiling it, to kill a target or let him live for him to then come and help you on your mission, you also see a fair bit of the game from Manendezs view, whilst playing as him or as an enemy, giving you both sides of the story and a bit of background as to why Menendez has set about trying to bring down the people that killed his sister Josefina.

When watching the credits there are also a few extra bits to the story, not sure what happens if you skip the credits if the videos still show or not as i never skipped, pretty good ending to the game overall i rate the campaign as 7 out of 10 as like previously stated it was short but there is some re-playability in it for going back and choosing different events to happen.

Thanks for reading, feel free to leave a comment :)

Many thanks
Peter
