PS Vita EU release date confirmed

The new hand held games console from sony has finally had its release date unveiled on their official blog.

The console will be available for Europe Africa, Middle East and Australia from the 22nd of February 2012 with rrp's from £229.99 (€249.99) for the basic wifi model and £279.99(€299.99) for the 3G / wifi model.

Battlefield 3

Not long to go now until Battlefield 3 is released to the world in all it's glory, no doubt there will be a few gamers who won't like it but for fans of the franchise I'm sure they are all getting geared up ready to play.

I played the beta when it was released on the PlayStation Store last month and must admit I enjoyed it and it has made its way onto my pre order list along with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Skyrim.

I can't wait to get my hands on the jets in the game and take to the skies and hopefully not crash with any passengers as I have done in the past on Bad Company 2 in the helicopter (oops :/ )

Steam Free Weekend

Following on from my last post, Steam are letting members play the last installment to the Call of Duty Franchise absolutely free for the whole weekend, you are not obliged to purchase anything to play ti, and are also not tied in to buying it at the end of the weekend, you are free to play the whole game as you would play it if you had purchased it for free until 1pm sunday PDT

New Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 trailer

The new Call of Duty trailer looks pretty immense if your into your fast action gaming, shows off some of the new perks and new additions to the game. it also shows a hint of dogtags in the game, maybe to rival Battlefield Bad Company and their dog tag system? who knows?.

From mobile turrets to new style Bouncing Bettys it looks like this call of duty is all ready a hit with some of the fans around the globe who are drooling over the video in anticipation of its release this November.

One thing I have noticed which I didnt quite like in the last installment of Moder Warfare, was the heart beat sensors and it looks like they have made a return in this version, so I guess it will be campers paradise again whilst playing search and destroy, even more so now that they can have a little red dot beep on the side of their gun pointing them in your direction.

Released on Xbox Live tomorrow

There are a few games being released tomorrow on the Xbox Live marketplace,
Street Fighter Third strike, it is the classic Street Fighter 3 game that is re released with online multiplayer capabilities. it will also include 8 player tournaments, unlockable content with earnt vault points and also the addition of uploading replays to Youtube. It will be released for 1200 Microsoft Points.

The next game to be released tomorrow is Crazy Maxhine Elements will also be released for 800 Microsoft Points, in this game the objective of the game is to finish off partially built chain reactions using the elements of wind air earth and water, and also use the help of other objects and parts.

The last game to be released is a game for the Kinect peripheral, Hole in the Wall, being released for 800 Microsoft points, it is a game of the TV show where the player must stand and pose so that their body that will be portrayed by their avatar on screen has to position themselves to be able to fit through a wall that is making its way towards them. the game should be good fun in parties especially if alcohol is involved as some of the poses might prove to be difficult if the player isnt of a stable mind.

Also being released tomorrow is the next installment to the Call of Duty Black Ops maps, it includes 5 new zombie maps and no additional multiplayer maps, 4 of these maps were the maps that began the whole zombies saga back in World at War, and the fifth map pack will be a new never before ventured scenario based entirely on the moon
