So as I said in my last post, here is the list of all the PSP games on sale for the next 2 weeks, I dont play on my PSP anymore so I wont be purchasing any of the games but its a decent sale for any PSP owners out there, there was also a hint for anyone waiting for Person 3 to come out that it will be released in the next wave of sales starting September 7th.
If you have decided to buy any games on the sales feel free to leave a comment recommending some to other viewers.

Released today on the PSN Store
This list has been copied from the Official PlayStation Blog, a good place to go for current up to date news about things that are happening over at Sony HQ all about the PS3, PSP and the newer PS Vita.
It is quite a hefty list of releases but nothing in there takes my eye at the moment so i guess my wallet will be safe this week, I will also post the list of PSP sale items in another blog post after this one.
Thanks for reading, leave a comment if you want to ask any questions :)

Released on Xbox Live tomorrow
There are a few games being released tomorrow on the Xbox Live marketplace,
Street Fighter Third strike, it is the classic Street Fighter 3 game that is re released with online multiplayer capabilities. it will also include 8 player tournaments, unlockable content with earnt vault points and also the addition of uploading replays to Youtube. It will be released for 1200 Microsoft Points.
The next game to be released tomorrow is Crazy Maxhine Elements will also be released for 800 Microsoft Points, in this game the objective of the game is to finish off partially built chain reactions using the elements of wind air earth and water, and also use the help of other objects and parts.
The last game to be released is a game for the Kinect peripheral, Hole in the Wall, being released for 800 Microsoft points, it is a game of the TV show where the player must stand and pose so that their body that will be portrayed by their avatar on screen has to position themselves to be able to fit through a wall that is making its way towards them. the game should be good fun in parties especially if alcohol is involved as some of the poses might prove to be difficult if the player isnt of a stable mind.
Also being released tomorrow is the next installment to the Call of Duty Black Ops maps, it includes 5 new zombie maps and no additional multiplayer maps, 4 of these maps were the maps that began the whole zombies saga back in World at War, and the fifth map pack will be a new never before ventured scenario based entirely on the moon

Age of Empires Online
Today I will spend some time playing the new RTS game from Gas Powered Games, Age of Empires Online, I have started playing it all ready and have got to level 12 as the Greeks.
The quests are of great variety with some being timed defense and you must survive or protect an ally for the duration, to the usual building up your empire and attacking the enemy destroying all their buildings and units and there is also some side quests for collecting resources to help out allies.
The side quests are repeatable and become harder every time you replay them in order to start unlocking stronger and much better gear, all your units and buildings are able to equip these new items you unlock and this will give them the edge over the computer A.I and also if you were to play online against other players from around the globe.
The core elements of the game are free to play, from building up your capital city and completing the main story line of the game and also able to play coop as a free to play player, then if you choose to do so, you may purchase premium content for specific civilizations, this will include better gear to equip your units with to get the extra edge over the gear the free to play units get, and also you are able to place more buildings of a certain type in your home town.
The coop side of the game is a great addition to the Age of Empires franchise as you get to have the help of another player who has their own town center and are bale to build their own army up as they see fit in order to help you in your mission. both you and your partner will earn xp from playing and completing levels in coop mode and this will help when you want to upgrade and expand your city.
The tutorial at the start of the game is a good insight to any new players who are playing the Age of Empires games for the first time, it will teach you how to play with the basic commands, from training a villager to gathering resources and building an army. as you complete levels and gain xp your city will gain levels when a certain mount of xp has been accumulated, this in all will help you to get better units and buildings for your city, which you are free to choose which upgrades you want from the tech tree with 3 points awarded per level up.
thats enough of me babbling on about the game now but if you do fancy playing it or just trying it out remember it is free to play then follow the web address here and download it now to start playing, unfortunately it is only available on the PC at the moment so all you Mac users wont be able to play it.
Thanks for reading, feel free to leave some comments in the box :)

Howdy
Well, this is my first go at blogging so I will give an introduction about myself and also just explain here what I will be blogging about and what kind of topics to expect to be seen here.
I have been a gamer for a lot of my life, the first console I played on was the Atari 2600 JR, it was my dads console and we used to play on it together playing games such as; Asteroids, Pacman and also Missile Command. we used to play on it for hours taking it in turns using the old style joypads with one button to mash unlike the controllers of today with several buttons to press.
The first console i owned was the Sega Megadrive, I thought it was great to play on at the time and had plenty of games to play on it with my collection spanning close to 40 games (not bad for a 13 year old eh? :)) The Megadrive was so good that even my mum wanted to play on it, she bought herself Fantastic Dizzy and after that I never really got a look in on playing my Megadrive.
In total I have owned nearly all released consoles and hand-helds including the PS1/2/3 & Psp, Sega Saturn & Game Gear, Nintendo Wii, Ds, N64, Gamecube, Snes & NES, I also have owned the Xbox & Xbox 360.
My current favorite console I play on is the PlayStation 3, my choice for choosing this over the Xbox 360 that lies gathering dust on my shelf is it suits my needs as a gamer, I am able to play online with friends for free and talk to them, whether by private message or using my Turtle Beach DPX21 Headset. the features I do miss from the Xbox 360 when playing on my PS3 are the party chat and easy way to join a friends session from the dashboard. I also then have the option of watching Blu Rays or stream films with LoveFilm to watch with my family.
This blog will mainly be about recent going ons in the console world and I might also blog about stuff that is happening on the PC side of gaming, I will try to keep the information fresh and current for what is happening on the day it happens.
Thanks for reading the first post of my blog and I hope you stick around for the ride, if there are any requests or criticisms please leave a comment.
Cheers
Peter
